Finnish Childfree Association brings together adults for whom one thing in life is clear: childfree life. Being childfree does not mean hatred or negativity towards children. A childfree person wants to live their life without children of their own, and therefore other things bring meaning to their lives. The Association supports and promotes the rights, equality and status of childfree people, as well as offers peer support.
WHO WE ARE
Finnish Childfree Association is a group of volunteers who are passionate about making the world more equal, one step at a time. We strive for equality regarding diverse families, without discriminating against anyone or excluding anyone. We want to convey appropriate and up-to-date information about chosen childfree life and related issues, as well as offer peer support to childfree people all over Finland. We do also welcome international networking with other Childfree Associations or similar.

Finnish Childfree Association was founded on 18.2.2012 to:
- support and voluntarily promote the rights, equality and status of childfree people
- inform about childfree life
- provide peer support
- generate discussions
- act as a contact forum
- approach decision-makers/politicians
- expand the traditional concept of the family
To achieve this purpose, The Finnish Childfree Association:
- informs and takes a stance
- maintains a website
- organizes meetings and events
- introduces initiatives to public authorities
